For a Print Installation class, I questioned what would happen when a three dimensional wall was captured on photographic film, printed on translucent silk, and then installed in a white gallery on vertical layered planes. First, I studied the image of the photographic print—the editing of fragments from an entire demolition wall while layering them over each other to create a new wall. Later, the installation experience revealed how the 2D work embodied the space it was hung in and how it altered that space through its spatial configuration.
